Our beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson and nephew, Andrew Clair Hawkins peacefully slipped away in the presence of those who loved him on Saturday, February 22, 1992 after a courageous fight for life.
Andrew was born February 20, 1992 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marvin Clair and Jamie Lynn Marriott Hawkins. After arriving, 15 weeks early, and staying with us only two days, the number of hearts touched and lives changed are innumerable.Andrew is survived by his father, Marvin; mother, Jamie; sisters, Erica and Danielle; brothers, Casey and Aaron, all of Thatcher; grandparents, Arthur and Gracie Hawkins, Romeo, Colo.; Larry and Shirley Marriott, Leadville, Colo.; great-grandparents, James and Opal Murray, Lamar, Colo.; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandma, Ellen Evans Hawkins, who awaited to take him back home.
On behalf of Andrew, and his family, we wish to thank the many doctors, nurses and support staff at LDS Hosptial and Primary Childrens Medical Center for the special care and tireless efforts on our behalf. We would like to thank the many other people whose prayers and support have given us so much strength during this difficult time, and those yet to come.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 27, 1992, at the Thatcher/Penrose 1st Ward, Thatcher, 11 a.m. Friends and relatives may call at the Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Wednesday, February 26, 1992 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Interment, Valley View Cemetery, Bothwell, Utah.
