Leonard Moroni Gold, age 76, died February 23, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born April 18, 1915, in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Lehi Moroni and Fanny Clarissa Owen Gold. Married Ethel Noyce, October 8, 1938. Graduated from Granite High School. He was in the CCC's in the 1930's. Worked at the Arms Plant during World War II, Kennecott, Burrell Bottling Co. and Granite School District as a custodian, where he retired. He was an avid desert glass collector and rockhound for many years.Survived by his wife, Ethel, Salt Lake City; daughter, Sharon and husband, Doyal Gibson, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sons, David Lee and wife, Florence Gold; Leonard Dean and wife, Wilda Gold, Sandy; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Friday, 12 noon, at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Thursday,
6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
