Eleanor Sellers Gaz, 64 of West Valley City, died February 26, 1992 in Salt Lake City.
Born March 8, 1927 in Salt Lake City to Orme Francis and Helen Irene Howard Sellers. Married Guido Gaz on May 15, 1949 in Ogden.She spent her early years and was educated in Piedmont and Mountain View, Wyoming. She has lived in Salt Lake area since 1948. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She liked to do hand work and also loved the out doors; fishing, camping and hunting. She was a Girl Scout leader and loved to sing. She firmly believed you could take the girl out of the country but you couldn't take the country out of the girl.
She was one of a kind.
She is survived by her husband Guido; and children Gary Gaz, Vickie Baer, Cathy Nuesmeyer and Marcia Bowden, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, three sisters, two brothers.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 2, 1992 at 11 a.m. at the Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 So. State. Friends may call at the Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 Redwood Road, Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at Lake Hills Mortuary on Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Lake Hills Cemetery.
