The Women's Legislative Council of Utah County will hold a meeting at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, in the Women's Council of Provo building, 310 W. 500 North.
Speaker will be Rep. Jon L. Valentine, R-Orem. He has served in the Utah House of Representatives since 1988, and is a tax attorney with a business and corporate practice. He will discuss some laws enacted during this session of the Legislature with emphasis on revenue, taxes, budget, AMAX, RDA's and the power of eminent domain.The public is invited to attend and new members are welcome.
