I was born in Dresden, Germany on Dec. 1, 1900. I was named Marianne Luise Pueschel. My fine and ever-caring parents, Max Alfred and Elizabeth Lee Pueschel, were ever in support of me.

Music and the piano were my first love. I pursued a career as a concert pianist at the School of Music in Dresden. Opera and classical music gave me so much comfort in my life and brought me constant happiness. With my family, I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1922. Albert G. Zenger became my husband in 1928, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. I spent many years of my life as a member of the 25th Ward in Pioneer Stake and later as a member of the Cottonwood 6th Ward.

I leave my faithful, spiritual helper, my brother, Heinz, and his wife, Ruth, Salt Lake City; my sister, Katie, Ogden; my kind brother, Wolf and his wife, Lisolette, of Bonn, West Germany.

I will not forget my sons, Ken, Lee and Bruce, for their continual and kind concern and support at any time and on any occasion.

Thank you, my lovely daughter, Barbara, and her husband, Sid, for many long time vacations in their sweet company in Hawaii. My love to Shirley, Ann, Marlene, Janet and Tanya, my children's spouses.

I am still heartbroken at the untimely loss of my two precious sons, Gene and Ron. How my heart also ached because of the loss of my two delightful grandsons, Kevin Zenger and Jordan Zenger. I joined them February 3, 1992.

My 29 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren were such joy to me, even though names began to escape me.

I leave with loving memories of my closest friends. I express my deepest thanks again to my family for their love and care in so many, many ways. I was proud to be the matriarch of such loved ones.

Please visit my loved ones Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m., at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, and if you can attend, my services will be Thursday, 12 noon, Cottonwood 6th Ward, 4930 So. Westmoor Road (1665 East). Interment, Wasatch Lawn, 3401 So. Highland Drive.
