Margaret Singleton, 74, passed away February 4, 1992.
Born November 17, 1917, in Burke County, Georgia to James and Viola Lovett Carswell. Married Oscar Singleton August 7, 1951, in Savannah, Georgia. Long term member of Calvary Baptist Church. Retired from the U.S. Government. Member of Eastern Star and the Sego Lily Lodge #65.Survived by her husband, Oscar; sisters, Willie B. Hollaway and Dasie Thomas, both Philadelphia, Penn.; and Rosa Cuthbert, Augusta, Georgia; stepchildren, Lorraine Young and Mary Singleton; also many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 1:30 p.m., February 8, 1992, in the Calvary Baptist Church, 532 East 700 South, with Rev. France
Davis conducting. Friends may call at the Church prior to services from 12-1:30 p.m.
Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
