Cari McPhee Evelyn, 29, of Provo, died February 7, 1992 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 16, 1962 in Chula Vista, California to Norman Charles McPhee and Carol Christensen. She married Robert Scott Evelyn, August 5, 1988 in the Oakland LDS Temple. She graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in communications in 1990. Member of the LDS Church, Provo 3rd Ward. She was a visiting teacher and had taught Sunday School.She is survived by her husband, of Provo; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman C. McPhee, Racine, Wisconsin; Dave and Carol Christensen Steed, Carmel, California; grandparents, Violet Varney Christensen, Oakland, Calif.; Gladys J. McPhee, Williamsport, Pennsylvania; five sisters, Jennifer and Sara McPhee, Carmel, Calif.; Rachel McPhee, Racine, Wash.; Ashley and Briana Steed, Carmel, California.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 11, 1992, 2 p.m. at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center, Provo. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Provo City Cemetery. Family suggests contributions be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
