DEATH: CATHERINE E. BULLER

Catherine Elizabeth Dicks Buller, 73, died Thursday, February 27, 1992 at McKay-Dee Hospital of a stroke.

She was born July 29, 1918 in St. Paul, Minnesota, a daughter of Malcomb Pickard and Regina Homikey Dicks. She married Thomas M. Buller, July 3, 1947 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ogden.She was raised and educated in Pennsylvania and Minnesota. She graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn. She moved to Ogden in 1946. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She directed the C.C.D. at St. Joseph's for several years, retiring in the early 1980's. She was the best friend her husband ever had.

Surviving are her husband, of Ogden; two sons, eight daughters, Carol Bernal, Ogden; Patricia Thomson, Bothel, Wash.; Susan Elliot, San Francisco, Calif.; Peter Buller, Tucson, Arizona; Kathy Buller, Salt Lake; Mathew Buller, Ogden; Barbara Okiohiro, Davis, Calif.; Mary Reisdorfer, Egan, Minn.; Elizabeth Buller, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Joan Barnard, San Jose, Calif.; 23 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Frances Lacheki, Duluth, Minn. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tiny Dicks.

Funeral mass will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514-24th Street. Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Sunday from 6-7 p.m., where Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the McKay-Dee Foundation of the Catholic Community Services.
