Just when things were starting to look up for the Salt Lake Golden Eagles, they got a whole lot worse.
The Eagles had just come off a 5-2 victory over the IHL-leading Kansas City Blades Friday night, but the Fort Wayne Komets were not impressed.The Komets, behind two goals from Bruce Boudreau, shut out the Golden Eagles 4-0 Saturday night. With the loss, Salt Lake dropped to 27-32-8 on the season. Fort Wayne improved to 44-16-5.
Boudreau, a 37-year-old veteran, scored the first goals of the game at 16:54 of the first period and finished up the scoring honors with another goal in the third.
