The Utah chapter of the National Organization for Women holds its annual state conference Saturday, March 14, at Westminster College, Gore Business Building, 1840 S. 1300 East, Salt Lake.

Speeches and workshops cover a range of topics from breast cancer (with mammograms available on site) to domestic violence and from menstrual extraction to rape in Utah.Keynote speaker Karen Thompson is a university professor from Minnesota who will talk about the legal rights and legal problems of non-married couples. Thompson speaks again Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bryant Junior High, 40 S. 800 East.
