Emily Wallentine Tomlinson, age 99, passed away March 12, 1992 in Bennion, Utah.

Born October 12, 1892 in Paris, Idaho, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Ellen Payne Wallintine. Married Melvin Hyrum Sparks July 3, 1912 in the Logan LDS Temple. You can only have one mother, patient, kind and true. She was a lady full of determination. No other friend in all the world will be the same to you.

When other friends forsake you, to Mother you will return.

For all her loving kindness, she asks nothing in return.

As we look upon her picture, sweet memories we recall,

Of a face so full of sunshine, and a smile for one and all.

Sweet Jesus take this message To our Dear Mother up above.

Tell her how we miss her and give her all our love.

Your life was love and labor, Your love for your family true.

You did your best for all of us. We will always remember you.

We will love you dearly forever.

This has been the longest and saddest year of our lives.

Survived by three daughters, Mrs. June S. Abrams; Mrs. Velma Farnsworth; Mrs. John (Donna Mae) Fausett; 17 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; sister, Norene Dundas.
