ROME AIR-TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS PRESS STRIKE FOR 2ND DAY

Air traffic controllers struck for a second day Saturday at Rome's main airport, causing the cancellation of more than 100 domestic and international flights.

The controllers, who called their eight-hour strike Saturday, were due back on the job Sunday but said they would strike again Monday.Alitalia, Italy's flagship airline, reported that it was forced to cancel all but 14 of 70 scheduled domestic and 10 of 114 international flights departing from Leonardo da Vinci airport outside Rome.
