CHOIR MORE WORTHY THAN OLYMPICS

To the editor:

I always thought that the LDS Church, by owning the radio, television and newspaper, would be able to rise above the general problems of the world and be in a position to tell our story unhindered. It was very noticeable that for two weeks the Olympics were allowed to pre-empt the Tabernacle Choir.Have we lost control of the programming to the extent that we no longer are able to broadcast our own activities?

The choir is an obvious choice for Sabbath worship over what the Olympics can offer for uplifting Sunday activities.
