Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Abraham "Abe" Sam Howa, age 54, died March 13, 1992.

He was born March 10, 1938 in Dibble, Lebanon, the son of Samuel Abraham and Marian David Howa. He served in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He married Tillie H. Bozner December 31, 1957 in Salt Lake City. He retired as a supervisor at the Kennecott Copper Smelter.Survived by his wife, Tillie; son, Michael A. Howa, Flagstaff, Ariz.; four daughters, Mrs. Michael (Julianne) Morris, Atlanta, Georgia; Mrs. Steven (Cathy) Adamson, Monica Howa, Madeline (Mindy) Howa; four brothers, George, Raymond, Fred and Ronnie Howa; and one sister, Mrs. Wayne (Annie) Hill, all of Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, Katie, Jon, and Erik.

He was preceded in death by twin daughters, Collette and Colleen.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South. A vigil service will be held Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6-7:30. Committal, Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
