DEATH: GLADYS OSTLER JONES

Gladys Adora Ostler Jones, 82, our loving mother, grandmother, and sister, died at her daughter's home in South Jordan March 16, 1992.

Born March 8, 1910 in South Jordan, Utah to George Thomas Langford and Adora Hill Hunt Ostler. She married Ivan LeRoy Jones in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 6, 1928. He preceded her in death March 19, 1988. Gladys was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as president of the Ward Relief Society and Primary and as a member of the Stake Primary Board. She also served as a faithful visiting teacher for many years.Survivors: children, Ivan Blaine Jones and wife, Emalie, Mona, Utah; Calvin L. Maxfield, Union, Utah; Shirla J. McCleary and husband, Jerry, Cottonwood Heights, Utah; Verl O. Jones and wife, Donna; Sue J. Butterfield and husband, Roger; David Molotchick and wife, Sue, all South Jordan, Utah; 33 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Ostler; sisters, Priscilla Groves and Ellen Krebs. She was preceded in death by parents; four brothers and two sisters and a daughter, Arlene J. Maxfield.

Funeral services Friday, March 20, 1992, 12 noon in the South Jordan, Utah LDS Stake Center 2450 West 10400 South. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State, Midvale, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the church from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
