BARBERSHOP FESTIVAL

Barbershop festivalProvo High School is sponsoring Utah's first High School Barbershop Festival Friday in the high school auditorium, 1125 N. University.

The festival's outstanding groups will be invited to perform at a concert later that night. Also performing will be the Skyline Men's Barbershop Chorus and the Mountain Jubilee Women's Barbershop Chorus from Bountiful.

Festival: Friday, March 20, 3 to 6 p.m.

Concert: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Provo High, 1125 N. University

Tickets: $3 for students with an activity card, $4 for adults and $12 per family. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

New car restraints offered

The local distributor for Safe Rider, a new children's car restraint, says the device could prevent neck, spinal and abdominal injuries that can occur from automobile accidents and from current car restraints. See Utah County business stories on Page B5.
