Actor John Amos is the latest entry in John Gotti's parade of celebrities.
The former star of the "Good Times" sitcom was escorted to Gotti's racketeering trial Wednesday by an associate of the alleged Mafia chief and winked at Gotti."I'm just observing the judicial process," Amos told reporters later.
Asked he how got invited to court, Amos said, "I got friends."
He stayed only for the morning session, which consisted of FBI agents testifying about Gotti connections to mob activities in Connecticut. Asked if he found it routine, Amos replied, "Yeah, `L.A. Law' is better."
Actor Mickey Rourke and singer Jay Black of Jay and the Americans also have attended the trial with Gotti family passes.
