To the editor:
In the announcement of his U.S. Senate campaign, candidate Brent Ward issued a challenge to his opposition: Refuse PAC monies . . . and other candidates accepted the proposition. Now Mr. Ward complains his opponents have more campaign spending power than he has and that he believes PAC funding is not so bad after all. Is this turncoat performance typical of Mr. Ward's accountability - or was he just poorly informed on the finances of other candidates?
