Most Popular Runs: Big Emma with access from the Mild Gad lift and Gad 1 lift. This is a nice, wide open run with a perfect pitch for skiers. It is also groomed nightly to a glass-smooth finish.

Most Difficult Run: Great Scott with access from the Tram. This is a very steep and narrow run that cuts between outcroppings and offers any skier a real challenge.

Best Ego Run: Election off the Gad 2 lift. Why? Located high on the mountain so always gets good snow for the best turns. Also, nice rolling terrain on consistently wide runs.

Longest Run: Chip's with access from the tram. it is 3 miles long and a pleasure to ski.

Special Programs: Mountain Hosts provide free guided skiing tours to acquaint skiers with the runs and lifts best suited for their skiing ability. Kids ski free if a guest at one of the lodges and accompanied by a paying adult. Try Snowbirds's Fun Run, a brightly marked run going from top to bottom for a fun, less demanding way down. Disabled ski lessons taught by specially trained instructors for bot children and adults with disabilities. There are a series of clinics "Just for Adults: ranging from Learn to Ski for the beginners. Super Clinics for the advanced. Mountain Experience for those looking to get off the groomed trails. Silver Wings for the senior skiers 50 and over, and women's workshops on Thursdays and Fridays - just for ladies. For children there are children's classes of all levels. The Chickadees that pairs tow children of similar abilities. Wings for teens of advanced levels, and Race Classes for tomorrow's Olympians.

Special Events: March 21 will be citizens race on the race hill skiers 18 and older. Register from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m...march 22 will be the U.S. National Telemark Championships on the race hill...March 27 the Kids' Club will meet in the Children's Center, Pre-registration required and cost is $20...march 27 will also be the NFL benefit for the handicap ski program. Advanced registration required...April 4 will be the Bud Mogul Tour Championships on Lower Silver Fox. Register to race...And April 10-11 will be the Hard Corps Skier Challenge open to any amateur skier.
