STATE DIVISION OF AGING HAS A NEW DIRECTOR

Robin Arnold-Williams is the new director of the State Division of Aging and Adult Services. She replaces Percy Devine III, who is now the federal director of Region 8 Administration on Aging programs in Denver.

Arnold-Williams has been with the Department of Human Services for 12 years, most recently as program coordinator with the Office of Social Services. She has been responsible for directing the State Task Force on Children and Youth at Risk.She received her master's and doctorate degrees in social work from the University of Utah, as well as a graduate certificate in gerontology.

In his new position, Devine will serve as staff to the National Commissioner on Aging. Devine will be responsible for approving state plans on aging, allocation of funds, monitoring aging programs and providing technical assistance on aging issues in Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Colorado.

Devine has served as the Region 8 representative on the National State Units on Aging Board of Directors for the past two years.
