TAIWAN SOFTWARE SHOW WILL HAVE UTAH EXHIBIT

The Utah Office of International Business Development will participate in the Taipei International Computer Software Show May 7-10 in Taiwan in an effort to showcase Utah's strong computer software industry.

As with all international trade shows, office officials are inviting Utah companies to participate in the state's booth that will reduce the cost of a booth substantially.Office officials say the U.S. Department of Commerce and the International Trade Administration said that in 1990 the information services industry was one of the fastest growing sectors in Taiwan's economy. At that time, the market was $650 million and was expected to grow 35 percent annually.
