BYU MEN GYMNASTS DOWN TEMPLE

Even without Liang Jing-Wei competing in the all-around Thursday, BYU's men's gymnastics team defeated Temple 277.20-275.10 to move its record to 5-0.

The Owls topped BYU in the still rings and the high bar, but the Cougars got their biggest advantage in the high bar where Jason Brown won with 9.70, followed by Liang's 9.40. A four-way tie for first place at 9.40 was split between two Cougars and two Owls in floor exercise. Temple's Dominic Minicucci won the all-around in 57.40, plus the high bar and the pommel horse as the only multiple winner.BYU's next meet is today when it travels to Penn State.
