DEATH: ANGELINA "ANGIE" PACE

Angelina "Angie" Kournianakis Pace, 67, our loving mother, grandmother, sister and devoted friend, passed away from this world on Mar. 19, 1992 while in the Park Dale Care Center.

She was born Jan. 1, 1925 in Mohrland, Utah, the daughter of Emmanuel Kournianakis and Despina Spadithakis. She married Rulon Albert Pace, Nov. 4, 1944; marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple Sept. 4, 1965. He preceded her in death May 21, 1972.Their marriage produced three children; Mrs. Ronald P. (Joanne) Carpenter, Huntington; Jerry Rulon (Gina Bell) Pace, Sandy; David Albert Pace, deceased, July 28, 1991; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Adam, Alison , Brittany, Trevor and Calef, Sandy. She was the youngest of seven children that included Mary Katsavrias,

Antonette Salevurakis, Mike (Mary) Kournianos, all Price; Tony (Kay) Kournianos, Murray. Preceded in death by sister, Helen Manousakis and infant brother, Michael Kournianakis.

Active member in the LDS Church, having served in the Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society. She was a Den Mother and a member of the stake Relief Society Board. She served as a faithful visiting teacher for several years. She was involved in various civic and community organizations including Red Cross, Pink Ladies Auxiliary, TOPS, where she was recognized as a Queen, Price Womens Club where she held various positions and she was instrumental in various fund raisers for the development of the Carbon County Nursing Home, presently Park Dale Care Center and was a faithful volunteer who served countless hours at the nursing home helping to meet the needs of the patients there. She was an active member and held various positions in the PTA. Angie was a true angel and all who knew her were touched by her loving and kind manner. She was a hard worker and whatever she did, she did well.

Services will be held Mon., March 23, 11 a.m., Price 5th Ward Chapel, 545 East 400 North, Price. Friends and family may gather together to recall memories at Fausett Mortuary, 680 East 100 South, Price, Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and also Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the 5th Ward Chapel. Burial: Price City Cemetery.
