DEATH: VELMA HOLMES WRIGHT

Velma "Nani" Holmes Wright, 86, died Friday, March 20, 1992 of a heart attack.

Born June 12, 1905 in North Ogden, Utah the daughter of Milton Keynes and Martha Elizabeth Dudman Holmes. Married Maurice "Mode" James Wright on December 3, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah.Was educated in North Ogden and attended Weber Academy. Was active in the LDS Church serving in many positions throughout her life. Was involved in the social organizations of the community including: Welcome Wagon, Delta Gamma Mothers, and most recently in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Preceded in death by her husband. Survived by son, Garth H. Wright (Joyce), Bellevue, Wash; daughters, Sharon L. Nichols (Sam), Salt Lake City; Sandi Nikula (Nik), Paradise Valley, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Tuesday, March 24th, 11:30 a.m., Valley View 10th Ward, 2000 East 3900 South. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday evening 6 - 8 p.m., and at the Ward on Tuesday, 10 - 11:15 am.

Burial will be in the North Ogden Ben Lomond Cemetery.
