UTAH CHILDREN SEEKS NOMINEES FOR AN AWARD TO HONOR A PERSON WHO HAS IMPROVED KIDS' LIVES

Utah Children, an advocacy organization, will present an award to an individual who has made significant contributions that improved the quality of life for children.

The public is invited to submit nominations for the Utah Children's Hall of Fame Award by 5 p.m., April 1.Nominations should include a one-page letter describing the nominee's fulfillment of some or all of the five following criteria: affecting a significant number of children in a positive way; addressing one or more problems impeding mental, emotional and physical development of children; solving a problem that will have a long-term affect for the benefit of children; speaking out and educating others in ways that led to specific changes for children; and involving others in improving the lives of children through enthusiasm and dedication.

Nominations and letters of support must be sent to Utah Children, 401 12th Ave., Suite 112, Salt Lake City, UT 84103. The award will be presented during Utah Children's April 27 Child Advocacy Conference.
