DEATH: CHRISTIE BROWN BOULTON

On March 23, 1992, Christie Brown Boulton passed away at her home in Salt Lake City of causes incident to age. She was 96 years old.

Christie was born in Bountiful, Utah, January 26, 1896, the daughter of James and Mamie Brown Boulton. At a young age she moved with her family to Park City, and in 1935 she moved to Salt Lake City with her parents. She graduated from Park City High School and the University of Utah. For 45 years she taught elementary school in Park City and in the Granite School District. Christie was an active member of the LDS Church.Christie was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers: Margaret B. Irons, Ruby B. ward, J. Albert Boulton, and Richard Boulton, who died as an infant. She had nine nephews and nieces: Kathleen I. Anderson, Jack Irons, Joyce I. Johansen, Bruce Irons, Alan Irons, Larona I. Christensen, Margaret W. Wagstaff, James M. Ward, and Carol W. Mills (deceased). Christie also had numerous grand-nephews and nieces and their children.

Christie will long be remembered by her family, friends, and those whom she taught as children.

Funeral services will be held at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 So., Salt Lake City, 11 a.m. Friday, March 27th, where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
