DEATH: VERDELL OBORN

Verdell Oborn, age 71, loving wife, mother, stepmother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed away March 25, 1992 at the University of Utah Medical Center following a short illness.

Born September 29, 1920, in Salt Lake City, Utah to George R. And Viola May Powell Neeley. Married Elmer J. Engstrom, September 15, 1938; later divorced. Married Joseph Oborn, August 23, 1986, in Manti, Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church, Farmington 3rd Ward, loved her family, friends and cooking, and was very charitable.Survived by her husband, Farmington; children; Connie and Kirk Christensen, Centerville; Michael and Jean Engstrom, Littleton, Colo.; granddaughter Marci Flocken, Ogden; stepchildren: Joan Gilbert, Riverton; Beverly Merrill, Kaysville; Herbert Oborn, Sandy; 17 step-grandchildren; 35 step-great-grandchildren; brothers and sister: Raymond P. Neeley and Edna Baker, both Salt Lake City; Delbert P. Neeley, West Valley City; Marvin P. Neeley, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 1992, 1 p.m., at the Farmington Rock Chapel, 3rd No. and Main. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m., at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Saturday, at the church 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services.

Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
