BRIGHTON'S NATE HEADS UP HOCKEY ALL-STATE SQUAD

Brighton senior Todd Nate is the center of attention on the 1991-92 Utah High School Hockey, Inc. All-State team. The Bengal senior led his team in scoring and to the regular season title, earning him Most Valuable Player honors.

Nate intends to play Junior A hockey this fall in Madison, Wisc., where he plans to attend school.Other players on the All-State team include:

- Hillcrest senior Nick Kiser (goaltender);

- Kearns senior Jeff Kelly (defense);

- Highland junior Branden Beers (defense);

- Weber sophomore Kiyoshi Ryujin (forward);

- Brighton senior Steve Mason (forward);

- Judge senior Magnus Edling (forward);

Players on the second team include: Judge senior Dean Begum (goaltender); Brighton senior Adam Nilsen (defense); Washington junior Shawn Argyle (defense); Davis senior Paul Anderson (forward); Skyline senior Kevin Arndt (forward); and East junior Bill Reagan (forward).

Players earning honorable mention are: Highland freshman Brien Larson (goaltender); Valley senior Brad Larson (defense); Highland senior Scott Warner (defense); West Jordan sophomore Branden Mannek (forward); Brighton senior Mike Jerman (forward); and Clearfield senior Alex Markham.
