The Utah National Organization for Women (NOW) elected Robin Frodge as its executive coordinator during a recent 1992 state conference.
Frodge's term began immediately, replacing Rebecca Elliott who after two terms did not seek re-election.Some of Frodge's responsibilities include networking "with other progressive women's organizations" and being the spokeswoman for Utah NOW, according to a statement by the organization.
Frodge is no stranger to NOW. During the past year, she served as membership chairwoman and was instrumental in organizing the newly chartered Summit NOW chapter in Park City, which was a response to last year's anti-abortion law.
Furthermore, Frodge, in her desire to help NOW "accomplish feminist goals," has been working to reactivate the Logan and Ogden chapters of the organization. She works as an educational consultant and has lived in Park City for the past decade.
