RESTAURANT IS ROBBED FOR 2ND TIME IN 2 MONTHS

A Salt Lake restaurant was robbed about 10 p.m. Saturday, the second robbery at the establishment in the past two months.

A Salt Lake police report said a man entered Crusty's Restaurant and Bakery, 1355 E. 2100 South, and pointed a gun at the sales clerk and demanded money from the cash register.The man left the restaurant where he joined a second man. The men ran to a nearby car and drove away.

The clerk said she recognized the man as the same person who robbed the restaurant several weeks ago.

The bandit was described as Caucasian, with blond hair, blue eyes, about 6-feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing wire-rimmed glasses, a white painter's cap with a logo, a pullover windbreaker and white painter-style pants.
