DEATH: WALTER T. JOHNSON

Walter Theodore Johnson, age 78, passed away March 26, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born December 2, 1913, in Salt Lake City to Thorvald and Sarah O. Morck Johnson. Married Anna Virginia Larsen March 9, 1943; marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, March 9, 1961. Veteran of U.S. Army serving as an officer during World War II. Active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he held many positions including ward clerk and Salt Lake LDS Temple worker. Devoted father and husband who loved his family, church, and country.Survived by his wife, Virginia; and five children, Gregg and wife, Kathleen, Farmington; Brian and wife Judy, Salt Lake City; Bruce and wife, Becky; Pattee Burton and husband Grant; Claudia Petersen and husband, Scott; all of Sandy; 27 grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Ted M., Littleton, Colo.; Alta Linnell and Norma Carter, both Salt Lake City.

Funeral services Mon., March 30, 12 noon, (1115 South). Friends and family may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sun. evening 6-8 p.m., and at church Mon., 11-11:45 a.m. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
