Fourth District Judge Boyd L. Park agreed to postpone sentencing for a former Provo stockbroker in the bilking of $500,000 from two clients.

Park was scheduled to sentence Stanley A. Erb, 45, Friday on two counts of unlawful dealing of a property by a fiduciary, second-degree felonies. Erb was charged with unlawfully transfering money from a WordPerfect tax account into his own account while working as a stockbroker for Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc. from 1983 to 1988.He also misused about $70,000 of another Shearson client, Sandra Lee Crozier Hansen.

Erb's attorney, Wayne Watson, asked Park for time to present information about his client that could affect his sentence.

Park agreed and set a sentencing hearing for Erb on May 14 at 9 a.m.
