DEATH: KENT A. NEWMAN

Kent A. Newman, 59, died Friday, March 27, 1992 at his home of cancer.

He was born April 16, 1932 in Bothwell, a son of Henry A. and Estella Anderson Newman. He married Wilma Larsen June 19, 1957 in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Newman was reared and educated in Bothwell and attended Bear River High School. With the exclusion of four years of military duthe, he as lived his whole life in Bothwell. He was active in Box Elder County farming organzations. He has been Bothwell Town President and on the Town Baord. He was a director on the Golden Spike Bank Baord, member of the Box Elder Cunty Planning Commission, and a member of the Farmers Home Administration Board for Box Elder County.He was an active member of the Bothwell LDS Ward having served as a Sunday School teacher, MIA president, counselor and teacher, ward clerk, bishop's counselor and home teacher.

He served as a member of th United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife of Bothwell; two sons and one daughter, Todd and Debbie Newman, and Paul Newman, of Bothwell; Nan and Ronnie Croney, Tremonton; four grandchildren; his parents, Henry and Estella Newman, Bothwell; two brotehrs and one sister, O'Dell Newman, Norwich, Connn.; Ned Newman, Roy; Mrs. Ralph (Joy) Cullimore, Concord, Calif.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 1992, in the Bothwell LDS Ward Chapel, with Bishop Glade Anderson officiating. Friends may call at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 1st East, Tremonton, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, form 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the VFW Honor Guard.
