2 W.V. MEN ARRESTED IN W. JORDAN SHOOTING

Two men were arrested after a man was shot in the shoulder while in the parking lot of the New China Restaurant, 1330 W. 9000 South, early Sunday, according to a police dispatcher.

All three men had been together in the restaurant during a party earlier in the evening. They were arguing in the parking lot when one of the men, age 18, allegedly fired three shots at the 21-year-old victim with a 9mm handgun. The other man, age 24, allegedly brandished a .22-caliber handgun.The victim, Chanthanome Phonepradith, was treated at Jordan Valley Holy Cross Hospital and released. Police arrested the other two men.
