Doris Higgins, died in her sleep at her home on March 28, 1992.

She was born August 6, 1927 in Salem, Utah to Lewis Andrew and Chana Broadbent Hatch. Married Roy Farley and later divorced. Married E. Arthur Higgins on September 15, 1963.She worked at General Insurance Company, Dale Barton Agency, Higgins Construction Co., and Alder Construction. Member of the LDS Church. Past-member of Ladies of the Elks and Beta Sigma Phi. She lived, she loved, she cooked, and she fed the world. She loved to throw great parties.

Survived by husband; sons and daughters, John and Argie Farley, Washington; Eileen and Rob Cahoon, Arizona; George and Laura Higgins, New Mexico; Elizabeth Brown, Salt Lake; Joan Thompson, Bountiful; Adrienne and Steve Splinter, Ogden; Robert and Clare Dahlquist, California; and Heather Higgins, Salt Lake; 19 grandchildren; two sisters, Shanna Black, Salt Lake; and Beulah Haskell, Payson; and lots of dear close friends. Preceded in death by a son, her parents, two sisters and one brother.

At Doris' request, a private family wake will be Wednesday, April 1st, at 6 pm, at her home. Memorial Services will be Thursday, April 2nd, at 10 am, Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.
