KRAFT FOODSERVICE IS BUILDING ADDITION ON CLEARFIELD FACILITY

A 36,000-square-foot addition to the Kraft FoodService Inc. facility in the Freeport Center is under construction. The addition will provide larger distribution areas and more office space.

"Our new addition enables us to expand our frozen-food distribution capabilities and enables us to better serve our food-service customers," said Dave Hansel, general manager of the firm's Salt Lake-area operations. "The addition is also in line with the recent expansion of our sales force. We are planning for further growth in the market."Kraft FoodService-Salt Lake distributes a broad line of products and recently expanded its geogrpahic coverage to include southern Utah, eastern Nevada and central Idaho.

Completion of the addition, being built by Big D Construction, Ogden, is expected by late fall of this year.
