Ronald S. Hanson, vice chairman of the board of Zions First National Bank, is retiring after 44 years in the banking industry.
He was president of First National Bank of Logan when it merged with Zions, and he later became president of Zions.Harris H. Simmons, Zions' president and chief executive officer, praised Hanson's accomplishments: "His creativity and dedication have been exemplary."
Hanson graduated from Utah State University in 1955. He is a 1956 graduate of the Colorado School of Banking and a 1962 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
