CAMPAIGN GIFT WAS NOTHING TO SNEEZE AT

A doctor has given Democratic presidential candidate Bill Clinton an unusual campaign contribution - a hay fever remedy.

The Arkansas governor suffers from the vexing ailment, and Dr. Sidney Friedlaender gave him some allergy coping tips as well as a supply of an over-the-counter antihistamine. In fact, Friedlaender may have helped Clinton win last week's Georgia primary. "The Southern primaries were coming up and I knew that pollens were already airborne in the region," said the good doctor, who is affiliated with the University of Florida. Clinton sent Friedlaender a thank-you note.
