The Utah Farm Bureau has joined fruit growers who oppose a proposed sewer lagoon outside Santaquin City limits. The land, which is in the middle of an orchard, is critical to fruit growers, the Farm Bureau said. In February, the Santaquin City Council unanimously approved a resolution empowering the city to condemn property owned by Ricki Rowley and Dick and Dale Saunders for a $5 million sewage system, which voters approved last year in a bond election.
