DEATH: DONALD G. SMALL

Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Donald G. Small, age 67, passed away march 6, 1992 at his home in Salt Lake City.

Born August 24, 1924 in Spokane, Washington to Fred C. and Eleanor Schoessler Small. Married Bernice Davies January 31, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah.He was a retired Salt Lake City Police officer, Veteran of World Ward II, member of the American legion Post, # 71, and a general contractor. He was a great lover of hunting and fishing and enjoyed building his pride and joy--his boat. He was a skilled craftsman, good natured, and a friend to all. We will miss his smiling face and his bright blue eyes.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice; son, Donald and wife Rachelle; daughters Susan Brown, Joan and husband Steve Wells; nine grandchildren, Lisa, Ron, Melissa, Briar, Gordon, Jennifer, Marsha, Patrick, Mackenzie; three great-grandchildren, Kit, Shanae, Chantel; brother, Robert Small of Dowagiac, Mich.; sisters, Con (Fern) Welle, Mrs. Larry (Helen) Bueckers, both of Spokane, Wash. Preceded in death by father, Fred Small; brother, Charles, both of Spokane; mother, Eleanor Proffit, sister Dorothy Bentley of Anaaheim, California.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 10, 1992, 2:00 p.m., at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services.
