`FOIL' TRASH - RECYCLE

Don't throw away that used aluminum foil.

Even if it has covered leftovers in the refrigerator, wrapped a sandwich or decorated a bulletin board, it still has a useful life ahead. Many local jurisdictions accept "reasonably clean" aluminum foil and dishes made of foil, such as pie plates, along with the soda and beer cans sent for recycling.

The average American uses two pounds of foil a year.
