Shari Belafonte, daughter of singer Harry Belafonte, is working on a "We Are the Children" fund-raising campaign that parallels the "We Are the World" album her father helped make.

The project, to raise money for children's cancer and pediatric AIDS, will have this twist: All performers must be second-generation celebrities.Shari Belafonte is executive producer, and Natalie Cole, the pop group Wilson Phillips and Bonnie Raitt are among those invited to participate, said Barbara Donahue, who volunteered her Greenwich production company for the project.

David Foster, the Grammy-winning producer of Cole's "Unforgettable" album, is writing the "We Are the Children" song, Donahue said.

"We Are the World" raised more than $60 million for African famine relief in 1985.
