Looking through a gate, "Buster" keeps an eye on Hailey Johnson, 2, Provo, whose clothing was well-suited for temperatures over the weekend. Capitol Reef National Park registered 79 degrees Sunday, the only record high in the state. The mercury reached 88 Sunday in Provo and 78, the warmest day so far this year, at the Salt Lake International Airport. The low reading Monday was 58 degrees, a record-high minimum temperature. National Weather Service meteorologist William J. Alder says it will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers Monday night and Tuesday. It will be a little cooler with lows near 50 and highs near 70.
