An 11-year-old Kaysville girl who ran away from home Saturday has turned up in Salt Lake City.
Eilene Barker was picked up by a Utah Highway Patrol trooper when she was trying to hitchhike out of town on I-15 Saturday. According to police, the girl gave the trooper false information and was placed in a Salt Lake shelter.A counselor in the shelter recognized the girl after seeing news reports.
