An eight-story villainess will loom over the state Capitol at noon Tuesday - and Utah children are invited to join Gov. Norm Bangerter to see her.
Maleficent, from Disney's "Sleeping Beauty," is actually a 75-foot-high, 46-foot-wide balloon that will serve as a backdrop for a ceremony featuring Disney characters to honor the governor for 18 years of public service.Afterward, there will be a program previewing the latest attraction at Disneyland, "Fantasmic!," which will pit Mickey Mouse against Disney villains.
The public is invited to attend both the ceremony and the program.
