A police officer in Providence, R.I., leads two Brown University students from the president's office after a group of students staged a daylong sit-in to demand that applicants to the school be admitted without regard to their ability to pay. About 250 who took part in the protest were arrested on five charges each, including trespassing and disorderly conduct. They were released late Wednesday after agreeing to appear in court on a later date.
