The 121st annual meeting of the National Rifle Association of America will open to members and visitors on Friday.
Part of the three-day event will be the NRA's exhibits. Nearly 180 exhibitors, including gun smiths, outfitters, law enforcement groups, competitive shooters, collectors and instructors, will be in the Salt Palace exhibit hall.The exhibits will be open to the public for a $5 fee. Hours will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Information on the NRA's new CrimeStrike program will be available at the show.
Also, there will be an air gun range open featuring the latest in air rifles and pistols. Cost will be 50 cents for five shots.
U.S. senator Orrin Hatch will deliver the keynote speech at annual banquet on Saturday.
