President Ezra Taft Benson and his counselors, Presidents Gordon B. Hinckley and Thomas S. Monson, prepare for the opening of the LDS Church's 162nd Annual General Conference, which opens today at 10 a.m. in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. The two-day conference will be the 13th general conference for President Benson since he was sustained as leader of the church. General sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today and Sunday, with the priesthood session scheduled tonight at 6.
