Nathaniel Robinson gives his dad, Lane, a hand as the Salt Lake Kiwanis Club plants 125 shrubs and some trees at the Saltair Visitors Center Saturday. The club is spearheading a project to landscape the area so visitors, many of whom are out of state, will leave with a more positive impression. The project comes one week before "The Great Salt Lake Beach Festival -- Kites, Spike and Bite," during which Saltair will become a summer haven for volleyball players, kite flyers and frisbee-catching dogs.
