Cheryl Marshall Mecham, 42, of Palmyra, died Tuesday April 7, 1992 at Holy Cross Hosptial in Salt Lake City.
She was born September 21, 1949, in Cedar City to Craig and Shirley Gillies Marshall. She married Alan W. Mecham, September 6, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was raised and attended schools in Springville, graduating from Springville High School. She also attended BYU. She was a secretary for the State Division of Adult Probation and Parole. She was a member of the LDS Church, and was the Stake Young Womens Sports director. She also taught in Sunday School and Primary. She enjoyed sports, camping, knitting, crocheting and traveling.She is survived by her husband, Palmyra; one son and one daughter, Kirk A. Mecham, Spanish Fork; Kalli K. Mecham, Palmyra; father and stepmother, Craig and Darlene Marshall, Springville; mother and stepfather, Shirley and LaVar Rockwood, Lindon; two brothers, Michael Marshall, Spanish Fork; Robert Marshall, Springville.
Funeral services will be held Sat., April 11, 1992, 11 a.m. Palmyra Ward Chapel, 1866 West 5000 So. Friends may call Friday evening 6-8 p.m. Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 So., Springville, and Sat. 10-10:45 at the church.
Burial, Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
